Our medium sized carrier for pets up to 18 lbs and with body length up to 18 inches(measured from the front of chest to base of tail) and 13" tall (to top of back when standing). When deciding on fitment, the measurements take precedence over the weight. * Share the adventure. No longer leave her behind! * Designed for comfort, even on long rides. Provides the pet their own space so both you and your pet can better enjoy the ride. * Includes a denim covered floor pad for the pet's comfort. * Removable side rails - he can enjoy the wind too! When we remove a rail, we keep it under the pad so we can replace it when we want our dog to lay down and rest. * Spring load gate with spring loaded lock ready latch. No rattles here! * Secure mounting systems * Lightweight aluminum construction, automotive quality powder coat and stainless steel hardware. Built to last! Technical Information: We hand-craft the top of this unit from .050" aluminum using a power hammer and english wheel. The body, floor and other parts are hand formed from .063" aluminum. The body is riveted together and powder coated for a durable fit and finish. We only use stainless steel hardware with nyloc nuts so you don't have to worry about fasteners coming loose. The side rails are hand rolled, powder coated, and are designed to be easily removed by hand.
